...To buy pearls and a hula hoop! That's what I got anyway! The pearl earrings were real and cost me 2$, they broke on the way out the door. The hula hoop cost me 2.5$ and is the best thing ever!!! It's for grown-ups and it's simply awesome... video forthcoming.
I am happy to report that this "haggling" thing is a piece of cake that I think I will really enjoy. Today, I talked down a pair of Uggs from $1,200 kuai to $200. YES, they were probably fakes and NO I didn't buy them but it was a thrill of a process!
Interesting things I saw along the way today:

Un saluto dall'Italia e sopratutto da Venezia, città unica al mondo!!!
Hey you, I just got caught up on the blogolio. We had that plant swap yesterday and you'd be surprised how time consuming that got. I think I picked up something from somebody there too because I am ultra sick today.. for the second time in my life lol.
I always think it is interesting how things are translated into English. Most of the time you can kind of get the gist but every now and then you see something that is a little confusing. *puts on her "huh?" face*
So what is that growing on the side of that hill? It looks like squash or maybe.. cantaloupe? Both flowers are worthy of display so I say hey, why not multitask?
Well, I am going to close this thing up and contemplate taking some knock out medicine and getting knocked out for the evening.
I just wanted to let you know I am thinking about you!

Nice photos. I have your insurance check now so I'll deposit that too so you can haggle and buy stuff.
Hey there, I've added you to my morning blog roll. It's possible I will be more in touch with your life now than I was when you were 2floor above me day in and day out. Be well!
I vote -Tripod- for doggie names... and additional comments.... I knew the rainbow ended somewhere, I just never expected China
